About Alice and Dreamland
At the end of 2013 I decide to write this blog with the aim of creating a little space which tells about me, my passions, my feelings, my hopes about future. It will especially deal with life, music, fears, pain, emotions and dreams.
There are dreams and there are nightmares. We all have good things and bad things happening in our lives. We all have people who love us and people who hate us.
There can be a breaking point in one’s life when this person feels more emotional and perceptive and when he realizes we only live once. He can go through such strong and special emotions that he can’t do nothing but desire more.
It happened this to me and I am now wondering if there is a road which can lead me closer to my dreamland.
History of project
Alice is italian and when she starts writing "Alice in dreamland" she is 27, in search of a job and single. She has a bachelor degree in International Economics and Marketing and a master degree in Languages for Business Communication.
After finishing the studies, it is not easy for Alice to find a job in line with her studies and her passions. She sends CVs to many creative agencies, music, fashion, events companies close to her small town and she also applies to some dream jobs around the world. Unfortunately, she is just able to work as trainee in a mechanical engineering company and as occasional hostess, promoter or interpreter during exhibitions and events. Human research managers and businessmen keep saying that Alice doesn't have enough experience to be hired for the desired position and the economic crisis doesn't help at all.
Alice is more and more disappointed, resigned and frustrated; also some close people seem not to believe in her anymore. Anyway, Alice has some weird night time and day time dreams and thanks to the help of some friends and an inspiring person, she decides to leave.
She goes to Ibiza in search of adventures, maybe uncounsciously trying to follow her desires. At the beginning it is really not easy, but after some time, Alice finds some jobs in the music industry. She finds herself in the heart of music, chances, emotions, creativity, open mindedness... There are many artists in the island and also Alice's favourite dj is often coming there to light up the place.
At the end of the season, Alice needs to come back and she's lost again. She's happy to see some loved people, but something very important is missing... Alice undergoes an operation, she sends some CVs and she has some interviews. While recovering she thinks about her future again and she starts writing this blog.
