What I like more and more

...Music is my biggest passion! It is a whole universe to me. I can't even explain what it represents to me.

 

When I was a child I liked some popular boy bands as Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls, Five, Nsink, Blue and also the italian band 883... At 15, 16 years old my favourite singers were Lenny Kravitz (I was obsessed with him and I still like him a lot), Bon Jovi, Nickelback, The Ark.. Then, it came the rap period when I liked Eminem and Nelly for a while. When I was 18, I Iiked 90's dance music a lot (I still think it is not bad!). Growing up, I have been liking many different kinds of music, but electronic one has become my favourite genre. 

 

From the age of 20 till when I was 24,25 I went to discos very often. It was very fun to go there with friends, but it was not just going to a club to have fun, meet new people, guys, drinking and partying. Well, it was also this, but music played the key role. Music could regenerate me, it could improve my mood so much. It was an escape to my problems, a parallel and better world which gave me confidence, happiness and hope. I get used to go discos, in search of my favourite artists, djs, singers, shows. I am still going to clubs sometimes, but not so often... And it is quite a shame!

 

I think I like so much electronic, dance, techno, deep and house music since they have some dreamy, phsychedelic and intense sounds and also some other wild, strong and thoughless parts which can just give you energy and optimism. This music has the same effect which adrenaline has on sport men. You always want more.

Sometimes, I also enjoy sadder and more delicate songs, especially when I want to relax, but I am not used to listen this kind of music so much, since I am a quite "Musicpathic" person and I can easily get influenced.

 

 

 

 

In 2010, more than 3 years ago, I attended by chance a little local festival were a mysterious blond dj was playing live. It really was "love" at first sight/listening! I had never heard something so singular, emotional, intense and also strong and positive.

Then, I found out he was a famous and international english dj! When I had the chance I went to his gigs again... and I did it more and more, in Italy quite near to where I live, but also in Belgium, Austria, London and Ibiza. 

I think his music reflects the way he's and maybe the way I am. I could spend few time with him sometimes and I could easily notest the person he is by his humble behaviour, his gestures, his quite shy but warm smiles. I would say he's very down to earth. emotional, receptive. I think you have to be very emotional to play music and communicate something and he certainly is like that.

I have now a kind of addiction to this dj and everyone says my eyes shine a lot when I talk about him and when I see him. 

He really makes me DREAM!
